Carlos Bockman Castaneda
  
 Associate/ VP Development Mexico

Mr. Bockman is a development and construction associate of MDG with over thirty years of design and construction experience in Mexico as well as in the USA.

He was a pioneer in early developments along the Mexican Pacific coast line in areas such as Manzanillo, Colima, and Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, participating in many of MDG's earlier projects in those well known resort areas.

His career in development began with an architectural degree from the University of Guadalajara which has taken him to all corners of Mexico working with financial groups, banks, and building resort condominium projects as well as major commercial, industrial, and residential projects for both national and international markets. In addition, his team was instrumental in developing and building the new Presidential Honor Guard Headquarters and Cavalry base in Mexico City for the Presidential Guard or Secret Service. Aside from his long standing history of political work and relationship with the Mexican Military, his knowledge of Mexico and relationships at the governmental level bring a dynamic contribution to the MDG group and its resort projects.

Mr. Bockman is the main associate in new property acquisitions and construction for MDG and "The Meridian Club", the fractional or Private Residential Club division of the MDG group of companies.

Mr. Bockman resides in Mexico City and in San Diego.


Federico J. Gaxiola
   Associate/ Sales Manager

Mr. Gaxiola is a sales and marketing associate of MDG with over twenty years of experience in sales management for resort destinations.

Mr. Gaxiola holds a BS in Economics from the Universidad Anahuac, Mexico and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin (specialized in real estate).

He was a pioneer in early developments along the Mexican Pacific coast line in areas such as Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta participating in many of MDG’s earlier projects in those well known resort areas. Recently, Mr. Gaxiola recently worked in the definition of the business and marketing plan of Moxché - a 600 acre, integrated beach, golf and village community-project in Playa del Carmen.

Notable real estate developments for which Mr. Gaxiola participated in the development and sales include: Arcano; Porto Ixtapa; Finestre; Moxché; Isla Blanca; Punta Gorda; Tambora; La Barra.

Mr. Gaxiola resides in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.


Antonio Rivas Rule
   Associate / VP Mexico Resort Operations

Mr. Rivas has been a major force in the Mexican hotel and development industry since the mid sixties. Educated at Princeton University, Mr. Rivas has been involved in hotel management with Hilton Hotels in the USA; The Las Brisas Hotel, Acapulco, Mexico; Las Hadas Hotel, Manzanillo; Mexico, Maria Cristina Hotel, Mexico City. In addition, he has been the director of operations for Nacional Hotelera, one of Mexico oldest hotel chains owning and operating the Hotels Presidente.

Mr. Rivas has been the On-site Operations Manager for the Meridian Development Group, organizing and operating all facets of each resort project during construction, pre-sales, and pre-opening/ soft-opening and transitional management to the operating company. In addition, he is instrumental in screening acquisitions for the Meridian Development Group including site selection, recommendations, market research and political public relations on behalf of the group in Mexico. Mr. Rivas, four times inter-American golf champion has re-designed several golf courses for developments in Mexico including the Club de Golf of Acapulco, the San Isidro Golf Club in Guadalajara, and the Las Hadas golf course in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico.

He has been appointed by the National Tourist Council to head up the Mexican Tourist office in Atlanta, Georgia, representing Mexico on both governmental and public relations levels.

Mr. Rivas resides in Mexico City and Cancun.


Lic. Carlos Guillermo Gonzalez Romo
   Associate / Corporate Legal and Trust Council- Mexico

Mr. Carlos Gonzales Romo has practiced Trust law in Mexico for over thirty five years and since its initial application to tourist projects in 1970. Mr. Romo was one of the original trust officers of Banco Nacional de Mexico S.A. responsible for the development of one of the first Trust contracts for resort condominiums sold to foreigners in the early 70’s.

Mr. Romo has worked with Banco Nacional de Mexico as the regional director for the northern states of Mexico including Sonora, Sinaloa, Baja California north and south. In addition, since receiving his law degree from the University of Guadalajara, he has participated as the head legal overseer for the Supreme Court in the state of Jalisco; General Manager of special Trust division for Banco Nacional; sub-director trust division of Banca Serfin in all of the northern half of the country and Sub-director of Banco BBV-Bancomer for the northern states of Mexico.

Mr. Romo is a principal in MDG and represents MDG and its Mexican subsidiaries in all real estate and fiduciary transactions relating to the groups land acquisitions and development activities in Mexico.

Mr. Romo resides in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and maintains offices in Tijuana.


Gregory A. Banig
   Associate/ Marketing & Sales Consultant

Mr. Banig has worked in marketing and sales since 1996. During this time his primary focus has been the design and implementation of technology to promote, manage and track sales and marketing efforts.

Mr. Banig’s core competencies and areas of expertise include: website design and development; email marketing and tracking; animation and video production; sales tracking, reporting and management; and the development of lead acquisition and conversion programs.

Mr. Banig has previously worked in marketing and sales technology roles within the financial, government and technology sectors. Mr. Banig has also successfully founded several successful internet-based businesses.

Mr. Banig holds a BS from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and currently resides in San Diego, California.
